Welcome to HammyCommunity.com!
This site is my own personal effort and is not sponsored or endorsed by Hamilton Township, Hamilton Local Schools, or any local municipalities. I'm hoping that this site will be a good way for residents of Hamilton Township to stay in touch and discuss issues important to all of us, or just simply chat. Use the forums to post and read messages from other members, or the private message feature to contact an individual member. This site is free to use and all that I ask is to keep all conversations clean and tasteful, and that there is no abusive or threatening language used toward other members. In other words, be civil.

Hey Boys and Girls, What time is it? It’s Pie Party Time! The “Pie Mobile” is built and we need riders. Attached are flierson our next two special American Pie Party events benefiting the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital at the Ohio State University.

Hamilton Township High School is hosting a Pie Party on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 6:00 P.M. and is highlighted with “SPEEDPIE”. Our goal is to have 100 of the Best Professional Volunteers (money can’t buy) throw 1,201 whipped cream pies at me in 99 seconds. I am requesting a minimum sponsorship of a penny a pie ($12.01). A Celebrity Pie in the Face is also featured.

The Funny Bone Comedy Club and Café at Easton is hosting a Pie Party on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. Columbus radio personality, Dino Tripodis, challenges others to become celebrities and take a pie to fight cancer. You are also invited to nominate and sponsor others by completing the attached Celebrity Nomination form.

Please help by sponsoring these worthwhile events. Remember, anyone can have an American Pie Party anywhere, anytime. Let’s work together and make a difference in the lives of people affected by cancer.

Please make your check payable to: American Pie Party and mail to: P.O. Box 77652, Columbus, Ohio 43207. PayPal is available for your convenience under “supporters” on our website.

Please forward this e-mail and our website www.americanpieparty.org to friends, relatives, coworkers, and etc.

Thanks and Goodpie!

Join Hamilton Township in the fight against breast cancer!

***Update!!***
Today was one more day to be proud of the students at our Hamilton Local Schools. Today was the Komen Columbus Race for the Cure and you would have been proud of our Rangers. The Hamilton Township Rangers Race for the Cure team won 1st place in the School Team Challenge! They were competing against approximately 50 other local schools, including Hilliard Darby, Reynoldsburg, and Dublin. They received an award during the Survivor Ceremony.
Just take a look at what the team accomplished:
They registered 173 people and raised over $3500.
Elementary aged students wrote letters to the breast cancer survivors. Survivors received these letters in their Survivor Bags.
The HTHS Cheerleaders were Cureleaders today. They cheered for the runners/walkers along the race route.
Five HTHS students volunteered as "Muscle Men for the Cure." They helped set up and take down chairs, helped at the Survivor Ceremony, and worked the Finish Line.
The HTHS Student Council volunteered at Registration this morning.
The students really felt like they were a part of something big. They asked to go again next year and want to make this a Ranger tradition.
Thanks to all of you who supported and joined our team!
